Qingdao Huanghai University (QHU), established in 1996, is situated at the heart of the West Coast New District, a national-level new area in Qingdao, Shandong Province, People's Republic of China. The university is located at No. 1145 Linghai Road, with a postal code of 266427. Qingdao Binhai University, an undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, is authorized to award bachelor's degrees. Situated in the core area of Qingdao West Coast New Area (a national-level new district), QHU is blessed with a breathtakingly picturesque natural environment, a delightfully pleasant climate, and highly convenient transportation, making it an absolutely ideal place for both living and studying. The campus, sprawling across an area of approximately 1,720 mu (about 114.7 hectares), is imbued with a profoundly strong atmosphere of technology and modernity. II. Non-Academic Education
Exchange Students: Based on inter-university exchange agreements, international students study and conduct research at QHU, covering academic courses, cultural exchanges, and life experiences. Duration: 1–2 semesters.
Chinese Language Students: International students will focus on Chinese language learning, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with a duration of 1 - 2 semesters.

II.Eligibility Requirements
Applicants are required to be high school graduates or possess equivalent academic qualifications, and must be at least 18 years old. They must be foreign citizens with valid ordinary passports who do not hold Chinese nationality in accordance with the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China.
In accordance with Article 5 of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China, if both or one parent is a Chinese citizen and resides abroad, and the applicant acquires foreign nationality at birth, they do not hold Chinese nationality. To apply as an international student, in addition to meeting other eligibility criteria, the applicant must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for 4 years or more (inclusive), and have actually resided abroad for more than In the most recent 4 years (up to April 30 of the enrollment year), a total of 2 years. Based on entry and exit stamps, a stay of 9 months or longer in a foreign country within one year will be counted as one year.
Residents from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan who have emigrated and acquired foreign nationality are required to meet the same criteria as mentioned above when applying as international students.
Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, meeting the specific medical examination requirements for visa applications, including tuberculosis tests and chest X-rays, as mandated by the immigration authorities. Hold a Chinese visa or residence permit, and meet the medical standards required for the applied major to ensure normal study and life in China.
Applicants must have no disciplinary records, no public security penalties, no criminal records, and exhibit good conduct. They are required to abide by Chinese laws and regulations and respect Chinese customs and traditions.
II. Admission Methods
(1) Application Review and Admission

Provide completed personal information and valid contact details.
Provide a scanned copy of the passport identification page (the passport validity must be more than 6 months) and one recent 1-inch color passport photo (without a hat or makeup, no PS modification, with eyebrows and ears visible; the electronic version must be in a clear JPG format for student registration).
Provide a notarized or authenticated high school or higher education graduation certificate (in Chinese or English) and academic transcripts of all high school years (from overseas institutions).
Original and translated copies of national high school unified examination results or internationally recognized standardized test scores (as the basis for admission and scholarship evaluation).
HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) certificate (for applicants to academic programs).
Medical examination certificate issued within the past 6 months.

Upon receiving the complete application materials and remittance proof, the University's International Student Admission Review The committee will conduct a fair and impartial review of each applicant's documents.
Once the admission list is finalized, the university will officially notify applicants of the result. Admitted students will receive an electronic admission notice. Upon completion of the tuition and accommodation fee payment totaling 12,120 RMB, the university will proceed to issue and dispatch the official JW202 Visa Application Form, which is a crucial document for international students to apply for a study visa to China. A 1,000 RMB administrative fee will be deducted if the admitted student fails to register.
Admitted students are required to apply for a student visa to China at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their home country, submitting the relevant documents.
The application period is March and September each year, with specific dates subject to official notification.
(3) Registration Process
Students are required to register for admission according to the date specified in the admission notice. Failure to register on time without a valid reason will be regarded as voluntary withdrawal.
