Qingdao Huanghai University is a regular undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education and qualified to award bachelor’s degrees. The university covers an area of 1,292 million square meters, with a construction area of 993,800 square meters, and has over 33,000 full-time students. It comprises 15 academic units, including School of International Business, School of Intelligent Manufacturing, School of Smart City Engineering, School of Information Science and Engineering, School of Design and Fine Arts, School of Film and Television, School of Education, School of Medicine, School of Language and Culture, Qian Xuesen School, School of Digital Business, and School of Marxism. Joint Institute of Qingdao Huanghai University and WelTec (referred to as WelTec) is a non-independent legal entity Sino-foreign cooperative undergraduate institution jointly established by Qingdao Huanghai University and New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology Trading as WelTec. Officially approved by the Ministry of Education on May 13, 2025, the institute currently offers four undergraduate programs: Data Science and Big Data Technology, Computer Science and Technology, Digital Media Arts, and Animation, with a total enrollment capacity of 1,200 students. Based on the strengths of both Chinese and New Zealand academic resources, the institute introduces advanced teaching philosophies and educational resources to cultivate applied talents with a global vision and cross-cultural communication skills.

1. Qualifications

(1) Applicants must abide by the Constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China, possess sound ideological and political integrity, and uphold strong professional ethics in teaching.

(2) For professional teachers: candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree (domestic or international) with undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral majors closely aligned with the required field of the position. For counselor positions: applicants should have experience as a student leader and Hold a master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline, such as Computer Science, Digital Media, Animation (or related arts fields), or Education.

(3) Applicants should have a solid research background with strong potential for growth, possess the required professional qualifications and technical skills for the position, exhibit robust practical and innovative capabilities, and meet the physical requirements necessary to perform the job duties.
